“I have always been a passionate person when it comes to my family and friends and I have the same passion for my career. I care about the little things and enjoy helping people fulfill their goals and dreams. Being that person that someone can depend on is what motivates me.”
Tarah is a Colorado native and grew up in southeast Denver. She decided to go out of state for college and attended The University of Utah, where she studied Hospitality Management and Business. She lived in Salt Lake City for nine years before deciding to move back home. Over the past 10 years, she worked in a variety of hospitality jobs in restaurants, bars, and hotels.
Tarah worked in restaurants as a hostess and waitress, and later got her license to bartend and served private events and worked events for a Distillery in Salt Lake City. Her primary experience comes from hotels and spent a year working at a resort in Park City, Utah and then worked at a 4-star hotel in downtown Salt Lake City for three years in the sales and event planning department.
In 2018, Tarah felt inclined to transition to the real estate world and got her real estate license in Utah. She started working for the commercial real estate company, Newmark Knight Frank, and was on a team specializing in selling/leasing office space. After 18 months of office buildings, she realized she missed working with people in the hospitality industry and moved back home to join Sanborn and Company.
