FAQs

What does it cost to hire Sanborn and Company to help us find a business?

Generally the fees are paid by the seller or listing broker so there are usually no fees to the buyer.

What is an NDA?

A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is a confidentiality agreement and is required to receive confidential information about a business, even the name of the business.

Why do I need to sign an NDA?

Sellers require a NDA for many different reasons.  A complete marketing package will include financial information, lease summary and other confidential information. The simple disclosure of the name of a business for sale could cause the seller many problems including loss of business, employees etc.

Is financing available?

There are many options available depending on the type of transaction, amount of down payment and your credit worthiness.  SBA, conventional, business lines of credit and owner financing are some of the options. Our success is conditioned upon financing so we will not mislead you just to get to contract.

I don’t see a listing that I am interested in, can Sanborn and Company help me find the right business?
